Center for Strategic & International Studies | In-Person & Online Event

Description: Traceability of seafood supply chains continues to play a critical role in understanding and mapping environmental and human rights risks across the industry. The Seafood Alliance for Legality and Traceability (SALT) has played a central role in this effort by advancing the adoption of programs to support legal and sustainable fisheries. FishWise/SALT, the Stephenson Ocean Security Project, and the Human Rights Initiative will host an impact event to bring together sectoral experts, government representatives, industry leaders, and civil society stakeholders to reflect on the progress made and to explore the challenges and opportunities ahead as we move towards a more sustainable and traceable seafood industry. The Stephenson Ocean Security Project was established through generous support from the Phillip Stephenson Foundation. This event is made possible through the generous support of  the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
