Description: CSIS’s Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group (DIIG) will host the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, the Honorable Dr. Radha Iyengar Plumb, for a discussion on defense acquisition, with a focus on acquiring emerging technologies and integrating them into the force. The conversation will cover approaches to enabling innovative technologies, including those from non-traditional suppliers, to enter the defense acquisition ecosystem as part of the goal of delivering capabilities to the warfighter at the speed of relevance.
