SUMMARY:American Portrait: Taiwan’s Perspective on US-Taiwan-China Relations
DESCRIPTION:Stimson Center | Virtual Event \nDescription: “American Portrait Project” is a Taiwan-based survey that investigates the Taiwanese public’s perception of the United States and China and evaluates the development of U.S.-Taiwan-China Relations in order to understand the impact of the United States’ Taiwan Policy toward Taiwan’s public opinion. \nDr. James Lee (IEAS\, Academia Sinica) and Dr. Hsin-Hsin Pan (Department of Sociology\, Soochow University) will discuss the findings from the third wave of the survey\, which was conducted by the Election Study Center at National Chencghi University from September 14 to 19\, 2023\, via telephone interviews with 1\,211 Taiwanese adults\, with sampling error margins of ±2.82 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence interval. Speakers to be announced. \nThe registration link can be found below.
